All Bo-Rage yarns are either natural color or dyed with commerical dyes that are  the least damaging to nature. Most are hand spun, some constructed which mean one thread is hand spun and a second thread is a commerical yarn used for plying to get the desired results.  Most wools and curls are sourced from local shepherds and farmers in West Marin or Sonoma. Most fleeces are scoured and washed by hand and then carded and combed into roving,  NOT mill processed. The oil you feel in the yarns, is the natural lanalin. Fleeces are selected for softness and shine
